Last Saturday the BMRSG hosted a fun-filled picnic at Wison Park, Lawson for a group of refugees from the House of Welcome, providing a much needed break from the hardship of their everyday lives. 
BMRSG members and refugees from Iraq, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh shared a picnic lunch, engaged in conversation and enjoyed an entertaining puppet show, face painting, live music, and a hilarious game of tug-a-war.
