Cultural Exchange Weekend 2025
The recent Cultural Exchange weekend, hosted by BMRSG, was a great success. 25 refugee
women from Western Sydney were treated to 3 days of sightseeing, local culture and Mountains
hospitality.
Highlights included:
- Welcome from Aunty Carol Cooper and tour of The Gully
- Devonshire tea at Everglades
- International dishes and dancing at Junction 142
- Delicious Indian lunch cooked by Bibi’s Kitchen
The success of the weekend was summed up by the co-ordinator of the cultural exchange,
Rosemary Kariuki. She said “We will never forget the kindness, love, warmth and love that was
shared during these three days.”
