We thought we’d reach out to you to let you know about the Australian film, Damage showing at Mount Vic Flicks from November 30 to December 3.
The story centres on two people, an Iraqi asylum seeker and a prejudiced elderly lady thrown together in a taxi journey that changes them both. The two leads are non-actors. The character Ali is played by Ali Al Jenabi, an Iraqi asylum seeker who has been living in Sydney on a pending removal visa for over twenty years.
