The Heathens with the Grand Dame of Australian Folk Music, Judy Small
We’re beyond excited to announce our forthcoming concert with the great Judy Small, on her first visit to Blackheath. Recently retired from her judicial work, Judy is making a modest return to her highly successful career as a folksinger.
Judy says of herself:
“For almost 16 years I travelled the world as a full time old-fashioned stand-up-with-a-guitar-and-sing-songs-of-social-significance folksinger/songwriter. My songs are sung all over the English-speaking world in folk clubs, concert halls, festivals, around camp fires and on street corners.”
When: 22 October at 2PM (doors open at 1.30pm)
Where: Blackheath Community Centre, Great Western Highway, Blackheath
Tickets: $35, $15 school aged children.
