Labor’s Immigration changes will lead to poverty and destitution

ASRC is looking for support to oppose Labor’s proposed changes to the immigration rules, specifically their plan to take work rights away from Asylum Seekers and weakening appeal rights.

Please take some time to write to your Labor representatives, House of representatives and/or Senate, to point out the implications of this. Inevitably, this will lead to poverty and destitution, as well as placing even more strain on organisations like ours which already are stretched to support people in desperate need.
